Our School Uniform Policy complies with the DfE’s ‘Cost of school uniforms’ statutory guidance, taking account of cost and equality considerations. Our school uniform is compulsory for all pupils, including pupils who attend our Nursery. School uniform plays a valuable role in contributing to the ethos of the school and setting an appropriate tone. Uniform can instill pride, support positive behaviour and discipline, encourage identity with, and support for our school.
Most items of our uniform can be bought from any of the main supermarkets and chain stores. Branded Roseacre uniform, including sweatshirts, cardigans, ties and PE kits, can be purchased from Whittakers Schoolwar, 106-108 Highfield Road, Blackpool, FY4 2JF.
PE Kits
Pupils must attend school in their PE kit on pre-set PE lesson days. Every child is expected to be correctly dressed for PE lessons, in accordance with the School’s Health and Safety Policy. Earrings or other jewellery should not be worn on PE days. Appropriate footwear must also be worn.
Pre-loved Uniform
We also have a selection of donated, pre-loved uniform available for free to parents who are struggling to provide the required uniform for their child. Pre-loved uniform is displayed in the main school reception.
