Roseacre Primary Academy are proud to deliver all our meals in house. Our catering manager, Jeanette Royal, and her team are passionate about delivering both healthy and great tasting food for our children. We use only the best ingredients from suppliers who ensure quality fresh produce is delivered. We are also able to cater to all pupils with allergies or dietary requirements.

Payment information:
The current cost of a school meal is £2.50 per day (Year 3 to Year 6) or £2.00 for Nursery pupils. This includes a main meal, dessert or fresh fruit, and drink plus optional daily salad bar and bread each day.
The school operates a ‘cashless system’ for school meals, where parents can pay securely by card to top up their child’s account using the Arbor portal or app from home.
The Arbor Parent Portal & Arbor App also allows you to check your child’s meal balance as well as other great school features.
An email with full details on how to access Arbor Parent Portal and the Arbor App will be issued to you when your child starts our school. Free School Meals:
All pupils from Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are eligible for a free school meal through the Universal Infant Free School Meal (UIFSM) initiative. Parents or Carers do not need to apply for a UIFSM.
However, all parents entitled to certain state benefits are encouraged to apply for free school meal funding as the school will benefit from Pupil Premium Funding which is in addition to the annual school’s budget. This funding helps school to fund various activities and provide additional educational support for pupils (see the Pupil Premium Statement on the school’s website).

Allergies
It is important that parents inform the School of any allergies.
Roseacre Primary Academy is a NUT FREE SCHOOL. We ask parents not to include products in snacks or lunch boxes that contain nuts or products containing nuts due to the potential effects on nut allergy sufferers.
