Pupil Premium Funding

The Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) is an allocation of additional funding provided to schools to support specific groups of children who are vulnerable to possible underachievement.

This funding is sent to schools based on the numbers of children in the school who are:

  • Currently eligible for Free School Meals (FSM), or have been in the previous six years;
  • Those children who are looked after by the local authority (CLA), or who have previously been in care;
  • The children of our armed service personnel.

The funding is allocated to initiatives to ensure children reach their full potential academically and to support their emotional health and well-being.
